Privacy Policy

This is what Inside the Glass ("ITG") collects, why, and what we do with it — in plain English.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, an optional display name, and your favorite team. Passwords are stored only in scrambled (hashed) form — we cannot read them.
• Google sign-in: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. We never see your Google password. Google's own privacy policy governs their side.
• Your saved work: lineups, rosters, and scenarios you save are stored with your account so they're there when you come back.

Cookies

We use two kinds of cookies, both essential: one that keeps you logged in, and one that protects forms against forgery. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking.

Email

We only email you about your account — address verification and password resets. No marketing email, and we never share your address.

What we don't do

• We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
• We do not run third-party ad networks or analytics trackers.

Error reporting

When something on the site crashes, a technical report (what broke, and where in the code) is sent to Sentry, our error-monitoring service. These reports are configured to exclude personal details like your email or IP address.

Where your data lives

The site and its database are hosted on Render (render.com) on servers in the United States, protected by encryption in transit (HTTPS).

Deleting your data

Want your account and saved work erased? Email contact@itghockey.com from your account address and we'll delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
